On the 7th day before Christmas, Hazy (and Weatherly) recommend:
BOOK – Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
One of my favorite books. The headstrong Elizabeth and the proud Mr. Darcy. But all’s well that ends well. I’ve always wondered how lovely Pemberley could be. Is it really that big? I’d probably get lost there.
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.
“I could easily forgive his pride, if he had not mortified mine.” – Elizabeth Bennet
“In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.” – Mr. Darcy
SONG – “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” by Michael Bublé
I like Michael Bublé. And this song. It kinda feels cozy. Quite nostalgic, don’t you think?
And we’ll be back with our regularly scheduled Pentatonix version of Christmas songs next post. 😉
